- North Midlands Competition Group North Mids RFU are forming a new volunteer group tasked with overseeing the management and delivery of North Midlands competitions and playing opportunities for adult male players (in partnership with the Shropshire, Greater Birmingham and Worcestershire & Herefordshire domestic unions).
- If there are members of your club passionate about your adult male players having games to play in, at the times/frequency that work for them and have innovative ideas about how to help clubs to retain players through local competitions and playing opportunities, please do send this on to them. Some of the areas of responsibility of this group will include, merit tables and cups, flexible/social competitions and other playing opportunities, representation for North Midlands clubs on the Midlands Regional Organising Committee (MROC) and develop/maintain key relationships i.e. Clubs, Domestic Unions, Referee Society, RFU staff, University and College sectors. Those interested should complete the expression of interest form by Sunday 17th March: https://forms.office.com/e/ceAiC6Hf1D Further information is attached and following the deadline those interested will be invited to a web call to provide further information and next steps.
