The North Mids Vase for the 2025-26 season will be for Levels 9 and 10 clubs – 2nd and 3rd Teams only.
The eligible teams are:
Counties 3 Midlands West (North): Newport 3rds
Counties 3 Midlands West (South): Droitwich 2nds, Dudley Kingswinford 2nds, Edwardian 2nds, Evesham 2nds, Hereford 2nds
Counties 3 Midlands West (East): Veseyans 2nds
Counties 4 Midlands West (North): Telford 2nds, Whitchurch 2nds
Counties 4 Midlands West (South): Bromsgrove 3rds, Kidderminster 2nds, Malvern 2nds, Old Halesonians 2nds, Stourbridge 3rds, Worcester 2nds
Counties 4 Midlands West (East): Camp Hill 2nds, Old Saltleians 2nds
It is intended for the competition format to be a traditional cup knockout competition, with a preliminary round if necessary and early losers going into a Vase Plate Competition.
“Rule 6) Players may only play for a club’s league 2nd (or 3rd) team if they have played 5 games or fewer for their 1st (or 2nd) team.” This rule will be retained.
It is planned to use the Cup Saturday on the 25th October and the Next Available Weekend (NAW) on the 1st November for the first round.
It is proposed to move the “North Mids Finals Day” to a Saturday to promote interest. Clubs will be invited to tender to host finals day. 8 changing rooms will be a requirement.Closing date for entries is Tuesday
