Head Coach Opportunity Camp Hill Women’s Rugby 
Are you a passionate rugby leader ready to take our women’s team to the next level?
Camp Hill Rugby Club is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dedicated Head Coach to lead our Women’s program.
We are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to grassroots community rugby and is eager to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
The Role
As the Head Coach, you will be responsible for driving the development of our women’s squad both on and off the pitch. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Strategic Leadership: Designing and leading training sessions and match-day preparations.
• Performance Development: Enhancing individual and team skill sets, physical conditioning, and tactical rugby awareness.

• Team Culture: Building a cohesive, inclusive, and competitive playing structure that aligns with our club values.
• Collaboration: Working closely with fellow coaching staff and the Head of Playing Affairs to ensure a unified approach across the club.

About You

We are looking for someone who can combine technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess:
• Qualifications: Ideally RFU Level 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience: Ideally experience of coaching women’s rugby.
• Skills: Excellent technical and tactical knowledge of the game.
• Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor players of varying experience levels.
• Values: A genuine passion for the growth and sustainability of grassroots and community rugby.

STOURBRIDGE RUGBY RECRUITING WOMENS HEAD COACH / PLAYING HEAD COACH. 

Within the squad we have multiple  players that also have County caps including the captain of North Midlands senior women’s County squad. Two of our previous players have been recruited & now play for Premiership Women’s Rugby teams & one in a National Championship 1 team (One league below the PWR) 

The current head coach is moving on to coach in a higher women’s  league and we are looking to ideally recruit a playing head coach to continue the performance foundation they created & now develop & build the squad further. 

Stourton Park the home of Stourbridge Rugby has first rate facilities including:

4G Floodlight artificial grass pitch.

Covered grandstand.

Team sports therapist.

x3 Physio / medical rooms.

x2 Floodlight grass pitches.

Plus a further grass pitch.

Newly refurbished changing rooms. 

Veo camera systems for match analysis.

Gymnasium.

Pitchside tannoy system.

Electronic scoreboard. 

Excellent club house facilities including x3 bars with multiple large screens & a pitchside outside bar. 

We are looking for an individual to lead the coaching team of 3 & to liaise with the team physio & team manager. A level 2 in coaching is a prerequisite but the most important trait is to be able to communicate & understand the complexities of leading a large group of female players with a range of experience & talent. 

A tailored remunerated package depending on the suitability and experience of the successful candidate is available.
