U18’s Midlands Development Squad announced – 12 players from North Midlands selected

Following the three Super Sunday events, the Assessors and Selectors have reviewed all the players’ performances and we are now able to name those who have been selected for the initial Midlands U18s Development Day on Sunday 30 January.

As is always the case, we appreciate there will be many players who are disappointed not to have progressed further. Every player who has participated should take pride in achieving as much as they have in a difficult year and they should take credit for providing a team environment within which a number of their team-mates were able to shine.

Creating a close-knit environment in a squad of so many players eludes many teams, and the players and coaches alike across the Midlands CBs should take credit for achieving that so well.

Good luck to those going forward and congratulations to every other player who made the effort to participate and who gave everything they had on the pitch.
