Well another few weeks and the season will be at an end.
I would like to thank all RSL Leads for your hard work over the season and to all your first aiders for covering the numerous amount of games they would have covered. It’s no mean feat to be out in all weathers so that our games can be covered but this dedicated team of individuals.
As in my previous update here are a few reminders that we as RSL’s are expected to complete at the start of each season. From the middle of July you can start your update for the up and coming season. You would have seen that as NM CB we will only be authorising clubs that have completed their Risk Assessment and MEAP on GMS for the season to host any festivals and tours that you will be planning. For those clubs that like to do this in the off season please ensure you have done your update before submitting your paperwork.
If there are no changes to account for please ensure you apply the date in both the first aid assessment and MEAP. This then allows us to be sure you have looked at and updated your information. Can I please encourage those of you that did not complete this this season to ensure this is at the top of your to do list for next season.
As mentioned before the RFU are no longer running first aid courses and it is each club’s responsibility to ensure that you have adequate First Aiders. If you have people that hold a level 3 First Aid at Work they do not need to complete another course.
