NOTICE OF Society Meeting & AGM
A Society Meeting and AGM will be held on Sunday 4th August at Old Halesonians RFC (Wassell Gr La, Stourbridge DY9 9JP), commencing at 10.30am and finishing mid afternoon. Drinks and food will be provided. We are hoping to restrict the AGM to about 30 minutes but significant changes to our structure are being introduced and they will be explained in full on the day.

Administration Director Position to be filled
NB Neil Chivers has elected to step down from the role as Training Director, but will continue to support the Society and the new Director John Silverwood
Next season the Board will be employing Tracy Pettingale to take charge of much of our administration type of work. She already does a similar role for Kent Referees Society and has a clear understanding of the role. Coupled with Tracy’s appointment the role of Administration Director, which has been vacant since December 2023, is to be modified allowing the post holder to be more involved with practical issues. This role must be filled and if you are interested or just need more details please contact me direct (chair@northmidsrefs.co.uk).
But the meeting is not just about Administration, it is about rugby as it affects us all;
1) There be two opportunities to do a fitness test to see how your pre-season fitness is progressing.
2) There will be a guest speaker about referee abuse and how to get the paperwork right.
3) Your welfare and the support.
4) Changes to grading
And probably most importantly an opportunity to meet and chat with your colleagues. (YMO’s please bring mom or dad with you so we involve everyone)
