North Midlands Finals Day – Message from President Gordon Wood

I would congratulate those who organised and took part in an excellent day of rugby held on Sunday 14th May at Worcester RFC.

The organising Committee of Bill Worth, Robin Glover, and Tony Harbutt completed an excellent program to produce Shield and Plate finals and Vase and Plate matches.

Worcester RFC produced a professionally organised event which was well run during a long day.   I would commend all the staff involved.

And the teams, such an excellence of rugby, no quarter asked or given by any of the sides, to the thrill of the crowds.   The victor of the day being rugby which was of a high standard and most enjoyable.  Thank you all.
