Thanks for getting your results in quickly from today’s games. It’s good to see that it was possible to get all of them in on schedule.
Results are as follows:
Droitwich 7 v 24 Veseyans
Camp Hill 51 v 24 Stourbridge
Bridgnorth 19 v 41 Newport
Evesham 5 v 12 Ledbury
Whitchurch 62 v 7 Malvern

Hereford 3 v 10 Luctonians
Yardley and District 0 v 19 Bromsgrove
Winners progress to round 2 of the Cup – the draw for which will take place before the end of this week.
Losing teams are entered into the Plate.
As notified previously, there is a need for a preliminary round for the Plate which will take place next Sunday, 1st Feb.
For expedience, the draw for this has taken place this evening.
Participating in the Prelim round will therefore be:
Stourbridge v Droitwich
Hereford v Yardley and District
Once the results of these games are known. The draw for R1 of the plate will be made and notified.
Apologies if this seems a bit rushed, but we need to get these games in next week to ensure the free flow of the competition.
Thanks, and best wishes,
Simon Bartlett,
Competition Administrator
