- RFU Council election for second term
Please see message on behalf of Charlie Hemmings who was voted for a second term as North Midlands RFU Council Member:
Many thanks to all Clubs for your continued support and I can assure you that, despite many frustrations, Paul Kaminski and I will do our very best to represent your and the grassroots interests even when the odds are stacked against us.

- Meet the RFU Executive – North Midlands are pleased to inform you that an opportunity has been organised for representatives from all Clubs to listen to an update from the RFU Executive and answer your queries/concerns. The Executive in attendance will be: Steve Grainger – Rugby Development ExecutiveTom Illube – RFU Chair of the BoardSue Day – RFU Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer

It has come to our attention that some Age Grade coaches are preparing their squads for the transition into their ‘new’ age group as of 1st September with regards to preparing them now for the new rules. Please see attached letter from Judith Phelps outlining this – the letter is aimed at U8’s but is relevant across the board

- Annual Club Accounts
We are still chasing our member clubs for their annual accounts for the 2022/2023 season – see attached list of clubs who HAVE already submitted. I am sure you are aware of RFU Regulation 5 – Financial and specifically section 5.1.3 that states:
“On or before 31st December each year, each club at Levels 1 to 4 (inclusive) shall send to the RFU’s Chief Financial Officer and every other club send to the Treasurer of their respective Constituent Body, a properly prepared financial statement for the previous season as presented to Club Members at a general meeting……………….”.
I would therefore urge all other clubs to send me without further delay a copy of your accounts covering the 2022/2023 season – roger.parsons@cedarcourt.net
