Championship strategic review
It has been agreed that further consultation on proposals to help support Championship clubs can be undertaken in the coming months to consider the viability of an additional cup competition between Premiership and Championship clubs running alongside a 12 team Championship league in 23/24.
Adult player affiliation
Annual sign-up (affiliation) is already in place in the age-grade game and later this year council will consider when is the right time to roll out affiliation to the adult game.
100 player registration limit
Approval has been given for the removal of the 100-player registration limit at Level 3 and below (set out in RFU Regulation 14).
Back in the Game
Further promotion of Back in the Game continues with a special episode from The Good, The Bad and The Rugby. Also, there’s content from The Rugby Trainer where he gives his top tips to help people to get back playing rugby.
