Kidderminster Carolians RFC seek new Head Coach

Kidderminster Carolians RFC are looking to appoint a new Head Coach starting next season.

The Club currently plays in Midlands 1 West (level 6) and runs 3 Senior sides plus a thriving Mini Junior section. The 1st Xv won promotion to Midlands 1 in 2018/19 season but unfortunately will be relegated at the end of this season.

The new Head Coach will help the Club deliver their 3-year rugby plan including the re-establishment of the Development XV. The Head Coach will be responsible for the planning and delivery of training sessions for all Senior Men’s sides and will take charge of the 1st XV on matchdays.

The Head Coach will also have responsibility for developing other coaches at the Club and helping to build a succession plan to ensure the Club is prepared for the future.

Candidates should be a minimum of RFU Level 2 Coach qualified with experience of playing and/or coaching at a similar or higher level than Level 7. They must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate at all levels.

We would happily consider applicants who wish to combine this role with playing in the 1st XV.

Remuneration to cover expenses will be discussed at interview.

How to Apply

Kidderminster Carolians RFC will welcome all applicants. All interested parties should send a Rugby CV, together with any further relevant information to Nicky Small, Club Secretary via email to kcrfc@btconnect.com

All applications will be treated in strictest confidence.

The closing date for applications is Friday 1st May 2020.
