Ruth Phillips has been nominated for the above recognition programme.
Ruth is currently the Head Coach at Shrewsbury RFC; she is the first female Head Coach of a men’s team in North Midlands RFU.
Ruth became involved with W&G rugby when she started to coach the u15/18 girls back in 2017 and she hasn’t stopped since then.
In addition, Ruth (up until the end of last season) was the Head Coach for the North Midlands RFU Senior Women’s County team. Ruth now holds the position of Director of Representative Rugby for Women and Girls in the North Midlands.
Ruth is always on hand to support all W&G activity in North Midlands from coaching to selection and everything in between.
