Cluster Entries:Clubs wishing to enter as a cluster must declare this on their entry form and provide a detailed rationale explaining why clustering is required. This is to support transparency and ensure clustering is used appropriately (e.g. to address player number challenges rather than to strengthen a team competitively). Teams entering as part of a cluster must complete the Cluster Registration Form before submitting this competition entry form: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/ebc1fdab09ff470da5497974c2615fd3 Please note that completion of the Cluster Registration Form does not constitute approval of cluster status or guarantee eligibility for entry into the competition. Cluster applications will be reviewed and approved by the RFU. Approved teams will then be placed through the existing CB ranking process to ensure a consistent approach to competition structure. Once approved, cluster teams may select players from across their declared cluster clubs without restriction but cannot include players from any non-cluster clubs. For each cluster, one club must act as the lead club, and the team will be set up under this club’s account on GMS. All players within the cluster must be registered with their home club, and with the lead club where this is different. Dual Registration (Non-Cluster Teams):Teams that do not enter as a cluster will be limited to a maximum of three dual-registered players in their matchday squad. This is intended to support natural player movement, such as development opportunities, changes in club fit, or relocation. Entry Form: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/019eacb813cc7499b9c3cb0b2d536fec * The deadline for entries is 23:59 on Sunday 12 July 2026. (*The person completing this form will ideally be the primary contact during the season for other clubs) There will be one competition at each age group, which will have national and regional components, which up to 64 teams can take part. They will initially be split into regional pools, the winners progressing to the national knockout rounds, while the runners-up move into a regional competition. To ensure that we have the best possibility of a fair and equitable spread across the country, Constituent Bodies will be working with the RFU to determine team entries. Entry Criteria:You must ensure that your team has a minimum of 18 registered players on GMS by no later than 23:59 on Sunday 13 September 2026. Please note that meeting this criterion does not guarantee entry. We will communicate further with all entered teams in due course, informing them of the outcome of their entry. Regulations: The 2026/27 regulations will be distributed with the first-round draw. Electronic Match Cards:The competition will again be using Electronic Match Card (EMC) this season. Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Womenscompetitions@rfu.com. Kind Regards Sabrina Competition Operations Team |
