Many Clubs will know that proposals were being put forward to a fundamental change to the RFU League structure including the provision of the ability for Lower Club XV’s entering the National structure.
North Midlands Council Representatives Steve Guy and Paul Kaminski are to be commended and congratulated for being instrumental in raising the profile of objections Nationally to any proposal for change without being afforded the courtesy of a detailed understanding of the provisions and practical implications and, moreover, the ability to share this information with their Clubs to enable them to have an informed opinion and present a representative view.
It has been announced that any restructure will not now be implemented until season 2022 / 2023 and more detailed information regarding a proposal will be published in the Spring of next year.
