Five Ways OE will be staging a match to celebrate the life of their former club stalwart Derek Earl who passed away recently.
Earl was Five Ways’ company secretary and his outstanding contribution to the club was recognised when he won the North Midlands Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011.
Five Ways will honour him with a match that will be refereed by Ian Jackson of the North Midlands Society of Rugby Football Referees.
To encourage as many players as possible to take part there will be rolling substitutions and the last ten minutes will be played as touch rugby.
Players from all clubs are welcome to take part and all are welcome to pay their respects a Five Ways stalwart.
