Camp Hill turn pink for cancer charity

Camp Hill’s thriving women’s team are also at home on February 2 in a cup match and visitors to the club’s ground at Haslucks Green Road in Shirley, Solihull will be able to buy a pair of pink socks for £4 with all proceeds going to the cancer charity.

“The Ladies Team have organised with Cancer Research UK for a fund-raising weekend to generate funds to help in the search for a cure for cancer,” said Camp Hill secretary Karen Gibbons.

“They will be selling pink socks at £4 a pair with the profits going to the charity, alternatively people can make a donation.

“Not many of us have not been affected in some way by this disease so all support is needed and is much appreciated.”
