| Bridgnorth, the North Midlands Shield holders, are through to their second successive final.Bridgnorth beat Droitwich in last season’s final and will now face Stourbridge Lions in this season’s showpiece at Dudley Kingswinford’s Heathbrook ground on May 11 (1pm).
Bridgnorth reached the Shield final with a walkover against Moseley Oak while Stourbridge Lions beat Ledbury 27-10. The Shield finalists are the first of the three competitions at North Midlands finals day to be confirmed. In the North Midlands Cup Hereford will host Newport and Malvern will entertain Worcester Wanderers in the semi-finals. The North Midlands Vase semi-finals pit Five Ways OE against local rivals Woodrush and Bredon Star against Harborne. |
