North Midlands Age Grade Finals – Full Details of timings / attendees and rules

U14s

For the information of parents/coaches/supporters/spectators:

• Each car attending will be charged at £5 per car
• Each supporter over the age of 16 travelling by bus will by charged at £2 per person each team is allowed up to 4 persons on a bus (assumed to be coaches) who will not be charged. Coaches travelling by car will be charged as per everyone else
• Each finalist will have a changing room available to them from 90 minutes before their game kicks off
• Food will be provided for free by the host club to the 22 players in your match-day squad, food will be available to purchase for any other individuals supporting or volunteering within your team
• Teams do not need to request a referee for the finals, this is sorted by North Midlands
• Both teams are expected to attend the post-match presentation of trophy to winner and runner up, we understand a loss can hurt or be frustrating but the values of the game must be upheld at all times
• In the event of a draw, winners will be determined by number of tries scored. If these are equal, the number of conversions kicked. If these are still equal the trophy will be shared. No extra time will be played
• Finally, we understand that children getting to finals is a wonderful achievement for all clubs, and that this may add a degree of pressure to all involved, however we would remind all coaches, volunteers and supporters to maintain fully the respect deserved towards officials. North Midlands RFU will come down heavily on any form of abuse directed towards our volunteer officials, whoever it may come from.
