North Midlands RFU have negotiated a deal with A-Plan Insurance (a subsidiary of Howdens, insurance providers to the RFU) whereby any new domestic insurance policy -car, van, home, contents etc. – purchased via A-Plan by any of your Club members will attract a £50 introducers fee.
These introducers fees will be accumulated by A-Plan and paid to North Midlands RFU for onward transmission to the purchasers own Club.
Any insurance policy purchased does have to be competitive and needed and to help support your Club please make an enquiry of A-Plan, if only for comparative purposes.
As per the attached flier please suggest and promote to your members that when they are seeking a new or renewal policy they phone 01423 647220 or call in at a local A-Plan branch for an insurance quote. Should your Club member decide to proceed they must quote “NORTHMIDLANDSRFU” and inform A-Plan as to which Club should benefit.
With injury avoidance being a principal barrier to playing the Game should only 15/16 of your members purchase an A-Plan policy this would generate sufficient to cover the annual premium of a team’s Howdens Player Income Protection Policy to give your players some reassurance that the Club is concerned about player welfare.
