2025 / 2026 SEASON

Last year (24/25) a record amount of Tours, Festivals and Camps being applied for were not within the timescales listed, some only 4 days or less before an event.  For the 2025/2026 season, these WILL NOT BE APPROVED.  Please adhere to the details below:

  • Cross Border / Festivals / Camps – In order to simplify the process for all North Midlands Clubs applying for permissions for the 2025 / 2026 season, we have updated our procedures:- 
    • North Midlands RFU forms for tours/festivals and camps can ONLY be obtained from Mrs Fiona Harris, Hon Secretary email NMRFUPermissions@gmail.com – no less than 2 months before the event. Under NO circumstances should clubs advertise the event or promote the event until you have obtained permission from the North Midlands RFU CB. These consents need to be applied for in good time. Last minute submissions will not be accepted except in exceptional circumstances. Please do not use the generic RFU forms. North Midlands RFU have their own forms.
    • However, RFU guidance for tours is attached on the links below.
    • North Midlands RFU are delighted to announce that they are now able to provide full season cross border permissions,  every club will be provided with a letter to cover the whole season if they apply to the Honorary Secretary as above, however each club must inform the Honorary Secretary before the event, so that proper records can be retained, as the RFU require that information at the end of the season.
